Nightlight Christian Adoptions has been helping women navigate through unplanned pregnancies since 1959 – we have over 50 years of experience.  We started when the idea of “open adoption” was not popular and filled with fear.  But we were one of the groundbreakers in listening to the needs of birthmothers and educating adopting parents.

We are a Christian organization, but we serve families and women of all faiths – and no faith.  How can that be?  Well, Jesus said we should love our neighbors as ourselves.  We hope you will see our love by the way we love you.

Those involved in adoption used to tell birthmothers that the sooner they signed the paperwork, the sooner they could get on with their life.  Really?  As if you could forget that you had delivered a baby and that your child was out there somewhere.

Nightlight is known for its emphasis on educating adopting parents – and valuing life.  We work with women with unplanned pregnancies in the United States, with orphans around the world and with couples with frozen embryos remaining after infertility treatment.  We value life – and we value the women who have to make those choices.
